PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for waste containing radioactive substances and a corrosion resistant tank applied to the treatment method which can easily and efficiently treat massive waste comprising incineration ash, sludge or soil containing radioactive substances at low cost.SOLUTION: The present invention is a treatment method for waste containing radioactive substance comprising the steps of: collecting radioactive wastes and storing them in flexible container packs; storing one or more of the flexible container packs in a corrosion resistant tank; transporting the corrosion resistant tank to a predetermined storage site; and storing two or more of the corrosion resistant tanks at the storage site together. The corrosion resistant tanks storing the flexible container packs are stored in a region surrounded on four sides by tanks that are empty tanks that are in the same shape as the corrosion resistant tanks which are filled with water, soil or concrete not containing radioactive substances. The inside of the corrosion resistant tanks is coated with a paint containing a shielding material or formed of synthetic resin or concrete containing the shielding material. |
