The present invention is a free-stop hinge module of a folder type portable terminal, and relates to a free-stop hinge module of a folder type portable terminal, capable of fixing a sub-body of the portable terminal at the angle desired by a user. The free-stop hinge module of a folder type portable terminal according to the present invention comprises: a first housing fixed at one end of the main body of the portable terminal; a second housing fixed at one end of the sub body of the portable terminal rotating relatively to the main body; a first link, one end of which is hinged to one end of the first housing by a first rotary shaft and the other end of which is slidably coupled to one end of the second housing by a first slide shaft; a second link, one end of which is hinged to one end of the second housing by a second rotary shaft and the other end of which is slidably coupled to one end of the first housing by a second slide shaft; a stopper rod, one end of which is brought into contact with one end of the first link or one end of the second link; and a spring arranged at the other end of the stopper rod so as to elastically support the stopper rod.
