One aspect of the invention provides a battery pack lockable to a vehicle body and can be mounted to and detached from the vehicle body with high operability. The battery case is provided with an extension part extended to above a battery cell accommodating part. The extension part has a handle including a grip having an orientation so as to extend in the vehicle's longitudinal direction when the battery case is mounted on the vehicle. The handle is on the battery case and is deviated toward either of vehicle-width-directionally left and right sides. A lock device attached to a main frame of the electric vehicle has with a lock pin which is advanced and retracted by key operations. The extension part on the battery case side has an engagement hole for accepting the lock pin, the engagement hole formed in either of side surface portions in the vehicle's longitudinal direction.
