<p>This mold clamping device is provided with a fixed platen where a fixed mold is arranged, a movable platen where a movable mold which defines a cavity in conjunction with the fixed mold is arranged and which is movable relative to the fixed platen, a tie bar which resists the mold clamping force generated between the fixed platen and the movable platen, and a half nut opening/closing device (20) which holds the tie bar and engages the movable platen and the tie bar. This mold clamping device is characterized in that the half nut opening/closing device (20) is provided with half nuts (21, 22) which hold the tie bar, an actuator (30) which is arranged on the movable platen and which advances and retracts the half nuts (21, 22) relative to the tie bar, and a clevis (32) which swingably connects the actuator (30) and the half nuts (21, 22). This mold clamping device makes it possible to suppress bending damage to the rod (31) of the actuator (30).</p> |
