摘要 <p>An electromagnetic wave transmission device has an electrical power transmission device, and electrical power receiving devices (106a, 106b). The electrical power transmission device has: an AC power supply (101) equipped with a circuit (102) for outputting electrical power including at least a fundamental harmonic and a second harmonic of the fundamental harmonic; and an electromagnetic wave transmission sheet (104) which is a band-shaped planar surface surrounded by two long edges each having at least one parallel section that extends in parallel with the other, and two short edges that are shorter than the long edges and that each have at least one parallel section extending in parallel with the other. The electromagnetic wave transmission sheet (104) has an input unit (105) which is located in the vicinity of the first short edge, and into which the output of the AC power supply (101) is inputted. The electrical power receiving devices receive electrical power from the electromagnetic wave transmission sheet (104) via couplers (107a, 107b). The second short edge (108) of the electromagnetic wave transmission sheet (104) is either open or short-circuited. In cases when the second short edge (108) is open, electric field couplers are provided as the couplers (107a, 107b). In cases when the second short edge (108) is short circuited, magnetic field couplers are provided as the couplers (107a, 107b).</p>
