PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance use efficiency of a page memory area in an image reading device.SOLUTION: An ASIC 14a for codec compresses image data and an ASIC 14b for codec compresses attribute data. The compressed image data and the compressed attribute data are stored in a page memory area 15 secured in a memory. At that time, one of the compressed image data and the compressed attribute data is continued from the start of the page memory area 15 toward the end thereof for reading and the other of the compressed image data and the compressed attribute data is continued from the end of the page memory area 15 toward the start thereof for reading. |
