PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple synthesis method of indolocarbazole (indolo[3,2,1-jk]carbazole) and analogs thereof for achieving high yield, tens of gram scale synthesis, and a small number of processes.SOLUTION: A synthesis method of a compound represented by general formula (4) is provided. In the synthesis method, when a compound represented by general formula (1) is reacted with a compound represented by general formula (2), the compound represented by general formula (4) is synthesized via a compound represented by general formula (3) as an intermediate. In the formulas: X-Xand X-Xare each independently CRor N; Rare each independently a hydrogen atom or a substituent; Y is a single bond, O, S, Se, CRR, NR, SiRRor BR; R-Rare each independently a hydrogen atom or a substituent; Z is Cl, Br, I, or OTf; and Tf is a trifluoromethanesulfonyl group (a tri-furyl group). |
