The sanitary insert unit (1) has an insert housing (2), whose housing peripheral wall has a sleeve-like inflow-side housing edge region. A disk-shaped sealing ring (10) partially fits with its disk outer periphery at the wall inner periphery of the sleeve-like housing edge region. A sealing ring-safety device is provided between the disk outer periphery of the sealing ring and the wall inner periphery of the housing edge region. The sealing ring-safety device has a securing projection which is provided at wall inner periphery or the disk outer periphery.
