PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder cosmetic exhibiting sufficient moisturizing effect, causing little caking trouble even under a moisturized condition and capable of keeping excellent quality.SOLUTION: There is provided a powder cosmetic obtained by compounding (a) 0.5-20 mass% of a divalent metal salt of a ≥16C fatty acid and (b) 3-20 mass% of a hygroscopic substance exhibiting hygroscopicity under following measuring condition. Measuring conditions of hygroscopicity are in the following: precisely weigh 5 g of the substance to be measured, put the weighed substance into a 20 ml screw tube, leave at rest for a whole day and night at 37°C and 98% relative humidity, and measure mass change. The hygroscopic substance has the mass change of ≥0.2% and ≤30%. |
