PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of using a microorganism that has high decomposition efficiency of organic chlorine compounds in order to restore the environmental pollution caused by organic chlorine compounds. SOLUTION: This invention provides a method of decomposing organic chlorine compounds including aromatic organic chlorine compounds by using a microorganism that bears the gene of a lignin-degrading enzyme that can be expressed under the control of the controlling sequence including the ras gene promoter, or the glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase promoter, for example, a basidiomycete, or the treated product thereof including lignin-degrading enzyme. |
