<p>The invention relates to a system for ultrasound measuring the deposited sediments in storage basins. According to the invention, the system consists of some elements (1) of anchorage to the bottom of a storage basin, in a representative point, a module (2) of emitter-type ultrasonic elements which is placed in front of another module (3) of receiver-type ultrasonic elements, at a certain distance (d) therefrom, the two modules (2 and 3) forming a sediment detection sub-system, some modules (4 and 5) for supplying the ultrasonic elements and for processing the signals from said elements, respectively, a support (6) with some arms on which there are mounted four ultrasonic elements (7) arranged in a circle, under an angle of 90°, to form a sub-system for measuring the distance to the point of anchorage and a hanging element (8).</p> |
