3-DIMENSIONAL DISPLAY APPARATUS USING TIME DIVISION SCHEME

PURPOSE: A non-glasses type three-dimensional image display device of a time division method is provided to dynamically minimize crosstalk about pupils of a viewer and to minimize the brightness variation of a viewing image even though the viewer moves in a three-dimensional space. CONSTITUTION: A backlight includes linear light sources. The linear light sources include two or more linear light source sets operated at the same time, respectively. Two or more linear light source sets are successively driven according to the time. An image display panel displays a three-dimensional image and supplies two or more multi views. A control unit controls the time image of the image display panel and the backlight. An observer location tracing system determines the pupil position of the observer and transfers the pupil position information to the control unit.
