摘要 <p>A passenger cabin system 10, particularly for an aircraft passenger cabin 11, includes a plurality of passenger control units (PCU) 24A-Z1, a plurality of passenger service units (PSU) 26A-Z1, and a programming code stored on a computer readable medium. The programming code dynamically links at least one PCU to one of the PSUs. The system advantageously allows passengers to control functions of the PSUs using associated PCUs without requiring a customised static database for the passenger cabin. This saves weight, allowing for fuel cost savings. The passenger cabin may be comprised of three zones: first class 12; business class 14; and economy seating 16. A cabin management unit 28A-C may be provided for each zone that communicates with each PSU and PCU in its respective zone and permits communication between each PSU and PCU in its respective zone. The system may include in-flight entertainment (IFE) units (132B-D, figure 2) having a head-end unit.</p>
