PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve smooth accounting processing by addressing various types of inconvenience caused in association with cash settlement.SOLUTION: An accounting processor according to an embodiment comprises: total amount calculation means for calculating a total amount of commodities; first accounting processing means for withdrawing a fraction from an electronic money balance and performing accounting processing on a business transaction having an amount obtained by rounding down the total amount to an integral multiple of a reference amount as an amount to be billed to a customer if the fraction generated by dividing the calculated total amount by the reference amount is equal to or less than the electronic money balance read from an electronic money medium by a communication device; and second accounting processing means for performing accounting processing on a business transaction having an amount obtained by rounding up the total amount to the integral multiple of the reference amount as an amount to be billed to the customer and adding a difference between the amount to be billed and the total amount into the electronic money balance if the fraction exceeds the electronic money balance read from the electronic money medium by the communication device.
