PURPOSE: A wireless power transmission system and a method using frequency splitting properties are provided to transmit power using a tracked frequency, thereby compensating transmission efficiency deterioration due to frequency splitting. CONSTITUTION: A wireless power transmission method using frequency splitting properties is as follows: A transmitting system transmits power to a receiving system using a natural resonant frequency(S100).; The receiving system transmits a coefficient value to the transmitting system(S110).; The transmitting system calculates the value of splitting frequency, and then transmits the power to the receiving system(S120).; The transmitting system receives an verification signal from the receiving system(S130).; The transmitting system is capable of changing the splitting frequency as much as one prescribed unit(S140).; The transmitting system transmits the power using the changed frequency(S150).; The transmitting system is capable of selecting a frequency of which the transmission efficiency is better than other frequencies(S160).; The transmitting system uses the frequency which is changed again(S170).
