PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feature point detection program and the like that determine whether or not a pixel is a feature point at a higher speed taking a previously determined determination result whether or not an adjacent pixel is the feature point into consideration.SOLUTION: In a decision tree storage section, a second decision tree is prepared for each branch of an end of an n-th layer in a first decision tree, and the first decision tree is prepared for each branch of an end of an n-th layer in the second decision tree. A feature point detection program includes: a first step of specifying one target pixel in an input image and a plurality of peripheral pixels positioned at predetermined positions; a second step of detecting a luminance type representing a luminance intensity relation of luminance of each of the plurality of peripheral pixels with respect to luminance of the target pixel; and a third step of, when extracting a feature point or a non-feature point with respect to a first target pixel by using the first decision tree, extracting the feature point or the non-feature point with respect to a second target pixel adjacent to the first target pixel by using the second decision tree selected according to the branch of the end of the n-th layer in the first decision tree. |
