摘要 PURPOSE: Carbon nanotubes (CNT) and a method for manufacturing CNT are provided to efficiently obtain a non-bundle type of CNT in a spherical shape by simultaneously controlling the activity and microdust of a CNT catalyst. CONSTITUTION: CNT are obtained using a bicomponent-based CNT catalyst containing a transparent metal aqueous solution. The CNT catalyst is prepared by mixing an alumina support, a catalytic component, a multi-carboxylic acid, and an active component. The molar ratio of the catalytic component is represented by x, and the molar ratio of the active component is represented by y. x is between 35 and 46, inclusively, and y is between 2 and 9, inclusively based on 100 mole of the alumina support. The sum of x and y is between 40 and 53, inclusively.
