<p>The present invention relates to a battery module formed from a plurality of battery cells, the battery module being formed from a sub-module comprising a plurality of battery cells and battery cases, and a cooling case in which a cooling medium flows in a liquid state, wherein the battery module has improved cooling efficiency. Specifically, the present invention relates to a battery module which comprises: at least one sub-module having a plurality of battery cells, and battery cases accommodating the battery cells; and a cooling case which accommodates the sub-module and which comprises a plate-shaped cooling plate and at least one fin-shaped heat exchange unit which is perpendicular to the cooling plate. The battery module uses a cooling medium which is in a liquid state, and thus has a high cooling efficiency and is easy to produce.</p> |
