PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microarray for detecting trace amounts of proteins in a biological sample sensitively.SOLUTION: The microarray comprises a plurality of through holes and a gel, in the through holes, in which proteins or epitopes of the proteins are immobilized. The proteins that the microarray comprises are allergenic proteins. A method for detecting biologically-relevant substances comprises a step of binding the proteins immobilized on the microarray to target substances in a sample by contacting the microarray with the sample and a step of measuring quantitatively the amount of the target substances binding to the proteins.
