A water treating composition is provided to prevent a scrum boiler system having a low pressure from being corroded and to suppress a divalent metal salt from forming a scale. A water treating composition for suppressing a divalent metal salt from forming a scale and having an excellent corrosion-protecting effect comprises polyphosphates, sodium gluconate, sodium sulfite, acrylate polymer and water. A concentration of the phosphate ion is 0.1-15 weight%. A used amount of the sodium gluconate is 0.1-15 weight%. A used amount of the sodium sulfite is 1-25 weight%. A used amount of the acrylate polymer is 0.1-20 weight%. |
