PURPOSE: A method for developing iPSc using pancreatic epithelial cells and a composition for the same are provided to identify diabetes-related mechanism and to develop a therapeutic agent for treating diabetes. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing iPSc(induced pluripotent stem cell) comprises a step of culturing pancreatic epithelial cells from an NOD(nonobese diabetic) mouse. A composition for preparing the iPSc contains the NOD mouse as an active ingredient. A method for establishing iPSc comprises: a step of producing virus particles containing oct4, sox2, klf4 or c-myc gene and a step of introducing the gene into the pancreatic epithelial cells. |
