PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a manufacturing error in a region to which an air-liquid interface of a lubricant should be located.SOLUTION: This rotating device 100 includes a fluid dynamic bearing unit. The fluid dynamic bearing unit includes a shaft encircling part 106 that encircles a shaft 26, an intermediate encircling part 104 that encircles the shaft encircling part 106, a shaft holding part 110 provided with a shaft hole 110a in which one end of the shaft 26 is fitted to be fixed, a base-side encircling part 112 fixed to the shaft holding part 110 and encircling the intermediate encircling part 104, and a ring part 108 provided separately from the intermediate encircling part 104, fixed to the intermediate encircling part 104, and encircling a rod encircling part 26c. The lubricant 92 is present between a rotating body and a fixed body. A first air-liquid interface 116 is present between the base-side encircling part 112 and the intermediate encircling part 104, and a second air-liquid interface 120 is present between the ring part 108 and the rod encircling part 26c. |
