PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case with a liquid draining function, which has improved easiness to open a sheet cover, is provided with a preferable water draining function sufficiently solving the problem of wetting of a periphery in opening, having an improved merchandise image of Japanese pickles with liquid seasoning, such as lightly pickled vegetables and well pickled vegetables, has excellent handleability for everyone, and contributing to an increase in sales volume.SOLUTION: A case with a liquid draining function includes: a case body 11 having a rigid or semirigid sidewall 12 having an L-shaped cross-section and provided with an outward flange 13 at an outer edge; and a soft sheet cover 41 stretchably provided at the outward flange on the upper surface of the case body. In the case body, the outward flange on the upper surface is formed with a substantially triangular table portion 15 between the case body and the notch portion 16 of the L-shaped part of the sidewall by notching the L-shaped corner of the sidewall. The upper end of the notch portion is formed with a recessed groove 27 leading to the table portion. The sheet cover on the upper surface of the table portion is peeled away to expose the recessed groove, thereby draining liquid in the case body. |
