PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine in which washing performances and rinsing performances are improved by exfoliating dirt attached to laundry from the laundry by centrifugal force rinsing and by discharging water contained in laundry to the outside of the laundry by centrifugal force rinsing, washing time is reduced by carrying out intermediate dewatering and final dewatering in centrifugal force rinsing, and energy saving in washing is achieved.SOLUTION: The drum type washing machine includes: a rotary drum 3 that is rotatably arranged in a water-receiving tub 2 and is for housing laundry; a motor 4 for driving the rotary drum 3; and control means 14 for controlling each process. In a rinsing process, a centrifugal force rinsing operation in which the rotary drum 3 rotates at such a rotational frequency that the centrifugal force of the rotating rotary drum 3 becomes greater than the gravity force is carried out for a predetermined time. When the final centrifugal force rinsing is completed in a rinsing process, draining means is operated without decreasing the rotational frequency and the step shifts to an intermediate dewatering step or a final dewatering step in a next rinsing process. |
