PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly input characters by simple operation, without increasing the size of a device in an operation area with a small area, when the characters are inputted in a display screen.SOLUTION: When a character input starting area determining portion 14 determines operation touching a touch pad 21 first is operation to a predetermined area on the touch pad 21, a soft keyboard control portion 15 displays a part of a keyboard associated with the predetermined area in advance in a display portion 11, and executes operation corresponded with the keys of the keyboard according to operation information to the touch pad 21. A cursor control portion 12, when a part of the keyboard is displayed, makes the whole area of a touch surface of the touch pad 21 and a display area of a part of the keyboard correspond to each other, and displays a cursor within the display area of a part of keyboard according to an operation position of the touch pad 21. |
