PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having an embedded memory is provided to automatically recover execution error of software by executing backup software stored in an embedded memory. CONSTITUTION: An internal memory(106) stores data of backup software and is connected to a mobile terminal. A removable memory(114) is connected through a removable memory slot(112). An error recovery unit(116) executes backup software stored in the embedded memory if an execution error of original software is sensed. The error recovery unit includes an error sensing unit and an execution switching unit for determining execution error of the original software. If the error generation of the error sensing unit is determined, the execution switching unit executes the backup software.
