PURPOSE: A revival breaking apparatus of an inverter motor and a method thereof use a bidirectional converter, and thus improve energy efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A system power (10) supplies commercial AC power. A bidirectional converter (20) is connected between the system power and an inverter. The bidirectional converter rectifies the AC power. The bidirectional converter outputs voltage of direct current link. An inductor (30) controls the voltage of the direct current link.
