PURPOSE: Ferrite-based stainless steel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to control carbon, nitrogen, aluminum, titanium, and austenite fractions to optimum levels, thereby improving ridging resistance without a reduction of moldability. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of ferrite-based stainless steel is as follows. A slab is heated and hot-rolled. The hot-rolled steel plate is processed in a batch annealing furnace and then cold rolled. The cold-rolled steel plate is cold-annealed. The slab comprises C 0.02~0.08 wt%, N 0.01~0.05 wt%, Si 0.01~0.50 wt%, Mn 0.01~0.70 wt%, P 0.001~0.035 wt%, S 0.001~0.005 wt%, Cr 14.0~19.0 wt%, Ni 0.001~0.50 wt%, Cu 0.01~0.50 wt%, Ti 0.01~0.10 wt%, Al 0.01~0.15 wt%, and Fe and impurities of the remaining amount. |
