A device for removing foreign materials of a steel sheet surface and a method thereof are provided to efficiently remove the foreign material like the rolling oil coated on the steel sheet surface using high pressure jet of the air. A device for removing foreign materials of a steel sheet surface comprises: a frame(11); one or more injection nozzles(12) removing the foreign material of the steel sheet surface by spraying air of the high pressure and plurality of dry ice particles on a steel sheet(1); a supply tube(13) spaying the air of the high pressure and plurality of dry ice particles; a dry ice particle supply source(15) and an air supplying source(16) connected to the supply tube with a mixing and supply machine(14); and a driving unit equipped in the frame to move the injection nozzle back and forth to the steel sheet. The driving unit includes: a movable bar(21), a front and rear moving axis(22) and a first motor(23). |
