HYDRAULIC FAN DRIVE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY

Disclosed is a hydraulic fan drive control system for construction machinery which is capable of reducing the engine horsepower required to drive a hydraulic fan by starting or stopping the driving of the hydraulic fan used to cool a radiator according to a temperature value of the radiator. The hydraulic fan drive control system according to the present invention comprises: a power takeoff device which takes off power from an engine; a temperature sensor which detects the temperature of an engine coolant and a working fluid; a hydraulic pump which is connected to the power takeoff device; a hydraulic motor which is connected to the hydraulic pump to drive the hydraulic fan used to cool the radiator; a flow path between the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor; a control valve which is disposed at a drain flow path intersecting portion branch-connected to the flow path and connected to a hydraulic tank; and a controller which outputs a control signal to the control valve so as to drive the hydraulic fan at an optimal speed according to the temperature value of the radiator detected by the temperature sensor. When the temperature of the radiator that is detected is equal to or lower than a setting temperature, the driving of the hydraulic fan is stopped. When the temperature of the radiator detected is equal to or higher than the setting temperature, the driving of the hydraulic fan is started.
