PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect back staining of recording paper, which is caused in an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: A recording paper inspecting device has a CIS unit 22 reading the recording paper on which an image is formed by the image forming apparatus 100 and reading a back surface of a side where the image is formed by the image forming apparatus 100.
