A method of forging blanks consists in broaching the blank with non-uniform temperature field by flat dies. The initial heated blank is cooled from two sides so that in its cross-section two local low-temperature zones appear, which are located symmetrically opposite each other, after which the blank is mounted in the heads so that between the working surface of head and the edge of low temperature zones an angle α is formed. |
