<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital recorder which can effectively evoke a user that replacement time of a component approaches and can display component prevention maintenance information on a monitor with a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: A digital recorder 1 which records video data outputted from a monitoring camera device includes a display panel 2 of a touch sensor system. The display panel 2 includes: a notice section 3 for giving information that a maintenance state of an incorporated component reaches a prescribed condition depending on prevention and maintenance; and an icon for prevention maintenance information 4, which displays at least the prevention maintenance information on a monitor M with a touch operation. The icon for prevention management information 4 flickers or is lighted as the notice section 3.
