<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a degree of freedom in layout of an instrument panel and to achieve suppression of a weight increase and high rigidity and high strength. <P>SOLUTION: A steering hanger beam structure for a vehicle is configured to be arranged at the back of a dashboard 15 of a vehicle 10 and to extend between right and left front pillars 17, 17. The structure includes: a first beam 21 extending from one of the right and left front pillars 17 to the vehicle width center side; a second beam 22 extending from the other of the right and left front pillars 17 to the vehicle width center side and whose extending end 96 is disposed at a position offset in the front and rear direction or in the vertical direction with respect to the first beam 21; a pair of brackets 27, 28 connected to the vehicle width center side part of each of the first and second beams 21, 22 and forming a well curb structure 31; and a dash connecting bracket 32 connecting the well curb structure 31 with the dashboard 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
