<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front protective plate for a display device, improved to prevent decrease in adhesiveness of a light-shielding layer in a high temperature and high humidity environment, the light-shielding layer disposed to hide an opaque wiring line or the like in an outer periphery of a touch panel or the like, and to provide a display device having the front protective plate. <P>SOLUTION: A front protective plate 10 for a display device has a light-shielding layer 2 formed on at least one surface of a light-transmitting substrate 1 comprising a chemically reinforced glass or the like. The light-shielding layer contains a coloring pigment in a resin binder comprising a cured product of a photosensitive resin, and contains, as the coloring pigment, at least three kinds of coloring pigments in different colors from one another excluding black. A black color can be expressed by the coloring pigments. Moreover, the front protective plate can be integrated with a touch panel on a side where the light-shielding layer is formed, the touch panel configured to include a transparent electrode for position detection of the touch panel and an opaque wiring line that is electrically connected to an extended part of the transparent electrode in a part corresponding to the light-shielding layer and is formed to be hidden by the light-shielding layer. The front protective plate is combined with a display panel such as a liquid crystal display panel and an EL panel, and a touch panel to obtain a display device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
