<p>The present invention relates to a system (100) to detect and switch between internal and external antennas. The system (100) checks the connection of the antennas by generating a single tone RF signal and detecting its reflected power. Thereon, the system (100) is able to determine the presence of the antennas and switch between the internal and external antennas in the absence of either one of them. The system (100) comprises of at least one first antenna (110), at least one second antenna (120), at least two RF coupling circuits (130), at least two RF detectors (140), at least two comparators (150), a latching circuit (160), a RF switch circuit (170), a transceiver circuit (180), and a controller (190).</p> |
