<p>A cover glass is provided with a glass-forming member (10G) in which compressive-stress layers (17, 19) are respectively formed on a front-surface (11) side and a rear-surface (12) side. The glass-forming member (10G) includes a center-side region (13) and a curved-surface region (14) that curves farther away from the front surface (11) in an outward direction from the center-side region (13). A concave region (RR) positioned on the inside of the curve of the curved-surface region (14) has the compressive-stress layer (19) formed therein in a manner such that ion exchange is stimulated in the concave region (RR) in comparison to other regions. The compressive-stress layers (17, 19) are formed in a manner such that the depths of the compressive-stress layers on both the front-surface (11) side and the rear-surface (12) side are substantially identical.</p> |
