The present invention provides an electrical contactor. The electrical contactor comprises: a frame; a fixed core arranged in the frame; a coil around the fixed core in the frame; a movable core movably disposed on the frame, wherein the movable core moves toward the fixed core through a magnetic field generated by applying an electric power to the coil; a crossbar movably associated with the movable core; a movable contact disposed on the crossbar; and a fixed contact assembly selectively contacted with the movable contact. The crossbar is provided with a supporting part. One side of the fixed contact assembly is supported by the supporting part. Because each fixed contact and an arc-quenching section have simplified shapes, the manufacturing process can be simplified. In addition, the fixed contacts can effectively resist external forces due to contact of the movable contacts. |
