<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle navigation device that can determine whether a driver refuses to turn right and that can search and show the most suitable route to avoid turning right. <P>SOLUTION: The car navigation device comprises: a map information storage unit for storing map information; a route searching unit for searching a route to a destination on the basis of the map information; a current position detecting unit for detecting a current position of a vehicle; a displaying unit for displaying the route with the current position and the map information; and a right-turn refusal determining unit for determining, on the basis of the route and the current position, that a driver refuses to turn right when the vehicle passes through without turning right at a junction to turn right included in the route. The route searching unit searches a route to avoid turning right when the number of times it is determined that the driver refuses to turn right is equal to or more than a predetermined number of times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
