REVERBERATION REMOVAL METHOD, REVERBERATION REMOVAL DEVICE AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverberation removal method for performing robust blind reverberation removal and suppressing amplification of noise.

SOLUTION: The reverberation removal method includes: a multi-channel correlation matrix calculation step of generating an L×L correlation matrix (L is the number of taps per channel of an inverse filter) from a correlation function among sound acquisition signals of N channels (N≥2), and calculating an NL×NL multi-channel correlation matrix from the correlation matrix; a singular value decomposition sub-step of subjecting the multi-channel correlation matrix to singular value decomposition and outputting a singular value; a signal subspace dimension estimation sub-step of estimating a dimension of a signal subspace on the basis of an attenuation tendency of the singular value; a pseudo inverse matrix estimation sub-step of estimating a pseudo inverse matrix of the multi-channel correlation matrix comprising only signal subspace components on the basis of the dimension of the signal subspace; an inverse filter coefficient estimation sub-step of estimating an inverse filter coefficient vector on the basis of the pseudo inverse matrix; and an inverse filter step of decomposing the inverse filter coefficient vector into filter coefficient vectors of the respective channels and applying them to the respective sound acquisition signals of the N channels.
