PURPOSE: A device for confirming residual cosmetics amount using a QR(Quick Response) code, a method thereof, and a program recording medium thereof are provided to read the QR code attached to a cosmetics box or a cosmetics container and to measure weight, thereby easily confirming residual amount of cosmetics by using a smart phone. CONSTITUTION: A QR code(200) is attached to a cosmetics box or a cosmetics container(100). A terminal(300) reads the QR code and measures weight of a current cosmetics container. A server(400) stores the cosmetics container and initial weight information of content in a database. A smart phone(500) displays information of current content by receiving QR code information and weight data information of the current cosmetics from the terminal and receiving the initial weight information from the server.
