<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary type measuring cell which can change cell length by switchover so as to be able to perform accurate measurement according to the property of a water sample. <P>SOLUTION: In a cell body 10 of a rotary type measuring cell, each of both end openings of a cylindrical body 12 whose peripheral wall has an opening 19 is blocked by blocking plates 14, 16, and rotary shafts 18 are fixed to the center of each outside surface of both blocking plates.
