<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display position adjustment method in which an adjustment value of registration adjustment of a projection type display device is easily set by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A projector comprises: a first optical modulator modulating light of first color components emitted from a light source on the basis of a first image signal; a second optical modulator modulating light of second color components emitted from the light source on the basis of a second image signal; a projecting section which projects the light modulated on a screen and displays a first image and a second image; a display controller causing a correction information setting image for setting correction information of positional deviation of the second image from the first image to be displayed; and a correcting section supplying the second image signal corrected on the basis of the correction information such that the positional deviation of the second image from the first image is reduced to the second optical modulator. The correction information setting image represents a correction amount indicated by the correction information by a numerical value and represents a correction direction indicated by the correction information by a position where the correction amount is displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
