Provided is a light source module that achieves a brightness distribution in which the brightness of a central part is high and the brightness is curved lower going from the center part toward the peripheral parts and thus achieves superior image quality. The dot diameter distribution of the scattering light structure has at least three extreme values in the directions of line A-A', line B-B', and line C-C'.
