PURPOSE: A method for providing a media sharing service and a device thereof are provided to search a plurality of terminals and media servers through Bluetooth connection and to share content based on IP connection between a searched terminal and a media server or IP connection between the searched terminals. CONSTITUTION: A media server(300) and a first terminal(100) generate first Bluetooth connection. The media server receives terminal information from the first terminal. The media server generates first network connection for a second terminal(200) corresponding to the terminal information. The first terminal provides content selection information to the second terminal through the first network connection. The second terminal reproduces content which is received from the media server through the first network connection.
