PURPOSE:To prevent resonance from occurring even if ambient temperature varies and to eliminate its influence upon control characteristics by providing a viscous damper to a part of a lead spring which supports an objective. CONSTITUTION:The objective 6 of an actuator for an optical pickup is supported by the Ra leaf spring 10. Viscous grease 20 is injected into the recessed part of a bobbin 11 which supports this leaf spring 10 to increase damping. Therefore, vibrations of the objective in the radial direction of recording tracks during fine adjustment becomes the variations of the leaf spring 10 and are absorbd by the viscous grease 20. Consequently, even if the ambient temperature varies, resonance is prevented from occurring to eliminate influence upon the control characteristics, thereby obtaining the actuator which has stable characteristics. |
