<p>PURPOSE: A measuring device including an index locking arm is provided to prevent the structural deterioration of an arm by preventing the arm from falling outside a stop position. CONSTITUTION: A measuring device including an index locking arm comprises a base, the first end(2.1) of an articulated arm(2) which comprises a second end(2.2). A position locking device is mounted in between the first end and base. The position locking device is mounted to disturb the downward movement of the arm. The position locking device comprises a pole which is connected to a pole separation unit. The separation unit comprises a manual control button and a torque limiter. The pole locks the arm into a position for ensuring the indexed locking of the arm. The pole prevents the falling and deterioration of the arm.</p> |
