PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and a communication connection method which ideally control a connection configuration of a wireless LAN while reducing power consumption.

SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus comprises a battery and wireless communication means which establishes communication connection with a base station automatically selected among base stations that can be communicatively connected when the battery is in a first state, and on the other hand establishes communication connection with a base station selected by a user's input operation from the base stations that can be communicatively connected when the battery is in a second state.
