<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus able to hinder occurrence of image failure due to the increase in the applying time of a charging voltage in each of image forming parts even in the case where means for applying a voltage to each of charging auxiliary members is shared between the image forming parts. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 comprises: the common voltage application means 8 for applying a voltage to each of the respective charging auxiliary members 7Y, 7M, and 7C of the image forming parts PY, PM, and PC; and control means 110 for switching the absolute value of a voltage to be applied from a first value to a second value greater than the first value at predetermined timing to start the application of the voltage to the respective charging auxiliary members of the image forming parts by the voltage application means 8, when an image is formed by the image forming parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
