<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electric pump, the method facilitating center alignment between respective parts in a mold. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an electric pump 10 includes a rotor assembly assembling step of constituting a rotor assembly 20 by assembling a rotor sub assembly 21 having a rotor magnet 48 disposed on a circumference coaxial with a motor shaft 24 and an annular holder member 46 holding the rotor magnet 48, a collar member 50 having a boss 52 inserted into the holder member 46 and a flange 54 formed at one end side of the boss 52 and supporting the holder member 46 in an axial direction, and a bearing member 56 having a cylindrical part 57 which is inserted into the boss 52 from the other end side of the boss 52 and into which the motor shaft 24 is inserted; and a mold molding step of constituting an impeller assembly 62 by arranging the rotor assembly 20 in a mold and performing insert molding to an impeller member 18 so that an outer surface of the rotor assembly is covered with a resin material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
